In partial fulfillment of Task 1, the Research Team has identified five qualified candidates to serve as project advisors. The advisors are well-respected, experienced traffic engineers knowledgeable in the EPLT issue. In particular, most of the advisors represent agencies that are using unique EPLT displays.

One of the functions of this advisory group is to serve as a method for stakeholder input into the process. It is anticipated that much discussion will take place concerning preliminary data results presented at the first panel meeting. One of the goals of the Panel meeting will be to eliminate some of the potential displays from further consideration. Therefore, involving the stakeholders will ensure that each display is given due consideration.
